1. What you’re signing up for

1.1 SERVICES AND PRODUCTS

Services include but are not limited to meditation and mindfulness instruction, mental health -related instruction, support, or coaching. Products include but are not limited to digital media for the purposed of instruction, practice, or training in meditation and mindfulness. Collectively, these are referred to as the “Services.”

1.2 GENERAL RULES FOR USE OR ACCESS

(a) When you order any Services (“Order”), or otherwise use or access the Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms and all applicable laws, rules, regulations, judicial orders, executive orders or similar binding legal instruments (“Applicable Law”). You may be required to click “I agree” to complete your purchase or access to the Services. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the Services.

(b) These Terms and the applicable Order set out the whole agreement between you and us for the supply of the Services unless expressly stated otherwise. For instance, in order to use or access certain Services or other special offerings, you may be required to agree to additional terms and conditions or policies; those additional terms or policies are hereby incorporated into these Terms. Where such terms or policies are inconsistent with these Terms, the additional terms or policies will control.

(c) Please check that the details in these Terms and on the applicable Order are complete and accurate before you use or purchase the Services. If you think that there is a mistake in these Terms or an Order, please contact us by emailing info@demystifymeditation.com. We only accept responsibility for statements and representations made in writing by an authorized representative of dM.

1.3 CHANGES TO TERMS

dM reserves the right to change or update these Terms. We may notify you of changes made to the Terms, or to any similar policies, if they modify your obligations or rights. We may post revised Terms on applicable Service, or we may contact you and require that you accept the modified Terms in order to continue the use of our Services. If you continue to use the Products or Services after modification, you agree to abide by the modified Terms.

2. Joining the ‘DEMYSTIFY meditation’ community

2.1 BEGINNING SERVICES

Use of any of our in-person or synchronous online Services de facto makes you a member of the “Community” of Demystify Meditation.
By using and/or accessing the Services, you warrant that: (i) you are legally capable of entering into binding contracts; (ii) all User Information you submit is truthful, accurate, and up to date; (iii) you will maintain the accuracy of such information; and (iv) your use of the Services does not violate these Terms or any Applicable Law.

2.2 ELIGIBILITY

Our Services are designed for individuals of 18 years or older. A member must be 18 years old to sign themselves up for Services. No individual under the age of 18 shall be permitted to sign themselves up for Services or attend in-person or synchronous online Services without a Legal Guardian or other suitable companion. dM reserves the right to refuse Services to any individual under the age of 18 for any reason whatsoever. An individual under the age of 18 may be asked to have their legal guardian agree to the Terms, and sign a waiver to warrant the lawful attendance of the minor.

2.3 GROUP CONDUCT & COMMUNITY GUIDELINES

The dM Community is built on mutual respect, safety, and shared growth. Each member of the Community contributes in their way to the richness of the other members’ experience. The purpose of the Community is to collectively pursue meditation and mindfulness skills, self-understanding, and knowledge of mental health and relational principals which support holistic thriving. The core function of the Community is to provide mutual support in the pursuit of these ends. No individual shall be excluded from the Community based on immutable characteristics, but some behaviors shall not be tolerated.

By participating, you agree to:

• Avoid offering unsolicited advice, therapeutic interpretations, or critiques of other participants.

• Engage with others respectfully and non-judgmentally, honoring diverse backgrounds, beliefs, and experiences.

• Show up on time and minimize distractions during sessions.

• Respect boundaries—your own and others'.

• Maintain confidentiality. What is shared in the group stays in the group, unless otherwise agreed upon. Further, the Services are offered in an outpatient mental-health clinic whose clients are guaranteed a level of confidentiality by HIPAA regulations. While Demystify Meditation is not bound by HIPAA statutes, maintaining a working relationship with the clinic requires us to be conscientious of its client’s rights.

The Community is a feature of the Services, adding value to each client’s experience of engaging with the Services. As such, dM has a vested interest in maintaining the quality of the Community and reserves the right to terminate and ban any Community member who cannot or otherwise does not abide by the guidelines outlines above.

We believe meditation is not just a personal practice, but a shared journey. A sense of belonging and consistency can make all the difference in staying engaged and feeling supported. When you participate with presence and care, you help create a space where others feel safe to do the same. That collective trust becomes a foundation for deeper insight, emotional growth, and sustainable habit-building.

Failure to follow these guidelines may result in removal from sessions or the program.

3 PURCHASES, SUBSCRIPTIONS, AND PAYMENT

Your use of the Services may require you to pay fees. We reserve the right to determine pricing for the Services. The fees you owe may vary based on many factors, including but not limited to discounts, promotions, rebates, and special offers.

3.1 PAYMENT TERMS

In order to access the Services, you may be required to provide your payment information. You are responsible for all applicable fees and charges incurred, including applicable taxes, unless otherwise stated in the Terms or in any additional terms. Before you pay any fees, you will have the opportunity to review and accept the fees that you will be charged. In such a case, you must provide an accurate and up-to-date Payment Method acceptable by us. You authorize dM to charge any purchase you make to your designated payment method, including the then-current price plus any applicable taxes and fees specified.

You agree to promptly update your Payment Method in the case of failed charges and while any payments remain outstanding. You are responsible for any additional charges that your payment method provider charges and you agree not to hold us responsible for banking charges incurred due to payments on your account.

3.2 AUTOMATIC RENEWAL OF SUBSCRIPTIONS

If you purchase a recurring subscription, you authorize dM to charge your designated Payment Method on a going-forward basis, on or before the payment due date for each subscription period, for all then-current fees, charges, and taxes. If your Payment Method fails, you remain responsible for any uncollected amounts.

3.3 REFUNDS AND SUBSCRIPTION CANCELLATIONS

You agree to use official features of the website or other acceptable means of communication in order to discontinue a recurring subscription.

3.7 CHANGING FEES AND CHARGES

We reserve the right to change our subscription fees, plans or adjust pricing for our Services or any components thereof in any manner and at any time as we may determine in our sole discretion. Any price changes or changes to your subscription plan will take effect following notice to you. dM reserves all rights and final say on matters of official pricing and fees for its Services.

We will make reasonable efforts to keep pricing information published on our Website up-to-date.
